Most of the posters on here would probably consider it a borderline area. There are some intact blocks, and there's some blight. Probably not a lot of activity on the sidewalks - you've already gotten a feeling for that. If you're nervous up there you might want to look somewhere a little less frontiersy.

Then again, in 5 years it might be the "next hot neighborhood." You never know.
