Hi, I'm looking at buying a house around 10th and Spring Garden and am a little worried about the crime in the area. I walked around the area during the day from Market up to Mount Vernon and I noticed a number of desolate areas that caused me some concern. I am a young, rather petite, woman and am wondering if there is any reason I should be concerned for my safety walking in that neighborhood. Any thoughts would be helpful.
