Suspect Shot in Valley Forge National Park

VALLEY FORGE NATIONAL PARK, Pa. - June 23, 2007 - Police shot and wounded a man in Valley Forge National Park tonight.
Authorities in Chester County said the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the General Wayne Statue on Outer Line Road and Baptist Road. Investigators have not said what provoked the shooting.
The wounded man was flown to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
His condition has not been released.
