For the sake of this conversation I am just talking about bars; I don't want to have to think about making my conversation kid-friendly after a drink or two no matter the time of day. I specified brunch because so many people said they thought it was great to bring their kids to bars for brunch, lunch, or early dinners. Bars are for adults - if people want kid-friendly brunches and lunches, they can try the places you mentioned, among countless others in the city.
