I agree. Most every other major city I've been to in the WORLD has travel smartcard that is so much more convenient and easy to use than Philly's antiquated system. But I feel like a lot of things here run in an out-of-date manner and continue to work like that because people make excuses like saying it costs too much to update or the current system works fine. Every system in this city that stays behind the rest of the country and the world is just another reason why Philadelphia will continue to be backwards and not as great as people make it out to be.

Change isn't necessarily a bad thing.
