This murder happened about 20 houses away from my former home, in the Colts Neck development of Washington Twp, from which I moved to come to Philly.

God forgive me, but I can't help but get a little perverse and guilty pleasure out of this horrible tragedy in that ALL of my Colts Neck neighbors reacted in disgust and horror (no hyperbold here) when I told them that I was leaving their fair, pristine and safe environs to live in the filth and crime-infested City of Philadelphia. I allowed them to make me feel that I was crazy. Boy, would I love to run into one of those smug, self-righteous SOBs now.

Now if the next murder will take place in my mother-in-law's neck of the woods, in Swedesboro, NJ, I'll feel totally vindicated.

Am I going to hell or what.

You and I need to hang! I had to move to Wash. Twp in 2002 to take care of two elderly relatives. At the time I thought it would be OK although I knew I'd miss South Philly. I'm now moving home this summer....recently a guy was killed in his home in Washington Twp and they tried to blame it on the fact that he owns an auto body shop IN PHILADELPHIA (typical burb snobs..."if we DO have crime, it got dragged here from PHILLY!")

Like you, people here are making me feel like a crackpot for actually WANTING to go home to Philly....^%$%^ all of them!
