Man Found Dead in Brewerytown BREWERYTOWN-August 31, 2005 - Philadelphia police have little to go on in an early morning murder. The Action Cam was on the 1300 block of North Newkirk Street. Officers discovered the body of a man here a little after 2:30am. He had a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. So far, homicide detectives don't have much in the way of motives or suspects.

Flying Objects Damage 3 Vehicles May 24, 2005 - There were frazzled nerves for the drivers of three vehicles that were hit by flying objects, possibly bullets, Tuesday night in Philadelphia's Brewerytown section. Two cars and a minivan were hit as they drove near 33rd and Girard. The side window of Shirley Bradford's minivan was blown out by whatever hit it. The other vehicles were also dented by the flying objects. Police are trying to determine what exactly hit the cars and who did it. Luckily no one was hurt.
